The terminals of each loop are fed in anti-phase and the currents in the two loops are in phase quadrature of these quadrifilar helix antenna.

Our QHA-150 VHF quarifilar helix antenna cover the frequency range of 135-175MHz is highly suitable for weather satellite communication application. Our QHA-450 quadrifilar helix antenna has frequency range of 400-512MHz band. Both VHF UHF quadrifilar helix antenna are designed and supplied as per MIL-STD-810G standards and are availabe in both RHCP and LHCP polarization sense.
The FTS-370-500-QH is a broad band circular polarized omni-directional UHF quadrifilar helix antenna cover the entire frequency band of 370-500MHz band which is designed specifically for use as a command destruct antenna used in flight termination systems. The RHCP or LHCP omnidirectional quarifilar helix antenna design consisting of two pairs vertical loop radiating elements at right angles to each other, twisted into helix turns vertically and enclosed in ABS radome. The special “Teflon Dielectric Transmission Line” technique is used to handle high power handling capacity allowing smooth VSWR and good gain over the specified frequency band.
The UV resistant ABS enclosure has excellent transparency for RF signals and enough strength to withstand specified wind loads of these quadrifilar helix antenna. The stainless steel mounting hardware is supplied with the quadrifilar helix antenna.
